Shirley Satterfield
Born in Philadelphia, Shirley Satterfield moved to Princeton, New Jersey, when she was two years old. She is a board member of the Historical Society of Princeton and created the walking tour that traces the African American community’s rich history in that city. The tour’s sites include Paul Robeson’s birthplace and the Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church, where his father, William Drew Robeson was a minister.
