Sonia Sanchez
Sonia Sanchez is an internationally recognized poet, author, activist and speaker. She has received numerous awards and commendations, including the Lucretia Mott Award,  the Outstanding Arts Award from the Pennsylvania Coalition of 100 Black Women  and a Pew Fellowship in the Arts.  She has published more than 12 books of poetry and authored several plays.
