Robert Cole
Robert W. Cole is a gifted pianist and musician who moved from Tennessee to attend Penn State University and received a degree in music education. He has great admiration for Paul Robeson’s music and social activism. Cole went on to become a music teacher in the Lawrenceville, New Jersey, School District, for twenty-two years, and became the first American of African descent to teach at the Friends Select School in Philadelphia.
